Hi delapa, you have to options. you can go into your settings select notifications, scroll to mail icon and turn off all sounds, banners, alerts, and badges when you go to bed at night (remember to turn back on).. Is there a way to set the phone to only let phone calls thru and not alerts or messages when you go to sleep? i know there is the mute slide above the volume keys but since it's my only phone i need phone calls to come in in case a family member had an emergency..
If you've got an iphone 4 or iphone 4s that's having some issues with sound, you probably aren't alone. issues could range from system sounds working but your iphone not actually ringing or system sounds not working unless plugged into the headphone jack.. Enjoy the sounds of nature without needing to spend a night outdoors. this app has a large variety of nature sounds to help you slow down and get a restful night of sleep.. When i set up the sound for new mail i selected the "night owl". after a week i decided to change the sound to "chord". now, after i've made the change, when emails come in many times the "night owl" sound plays even though it is no longer checked in the sounds category in settings..
