I've played (and loved) both ninja gaiden and ninja gaiden 2, and feel like going back to revisit the first game. i've heard that sigma and black have their differences and i'm just trying to. Ninja ryukenden vs ninja gaiden. not large mario like in the nes version of the game. in the case of the ninja gaiden games, the opposite is true. the famicom version of the game is a lot easier than the version that was released here on the nes, the story seems to be the same but a lot of things that were really frustrating about the nes. The hyperbole around the differences in versions continues to amuse even after a decade. i forgot it was like this :lol. all i know is i've played every ninja gaiden game to date, and i've enjoyed the revised versions of each (sigma 1+2, razor's edge) a lot more than the originals..
